Power, love and self-control

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

Reflection

Fear is not the spirit God gives us. His Spirit gives us courage, love, and sound judgment. We can face difficulty with trust in His care.

Pause before fear makes your next decision. Ask what love requires, what wisdom confirms, and what courageous step you should take. Let faith guide your response.

God does not ask for a dramatic performance. He asks for a willing heart that receives His grace and responds faithfully. Return to His promise whenever fear rises, and let it steady you.
