God is your fortress

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Psalm 18:2 (KJV)

Reflection

The Lord is not a fragile shelter. He is our rock, fortress, deliverer, shield, and stronghold. We do not need to pretend that life is easy. We can remember that God remains present, wise, and trustworthy.

When insecurity rises, stop seeking control in temporary things. Tell God where you need refuge, strength, and rescue. Small acts of obedience help truth take root in our hearts.

Your safest place is not a perfect circumstance. It is the faithful presence of God. Carry this truth into your work, conversations, and private thoughts. When fear or distraction returns, pause and begin again. God's grace is patient, and He gives fresh help to those who sincerely return to Him.

To consider

Where are you looking for security in temporary things instead of in God?

Prayer

Lord, You are my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. When I feel insecure, help me run to You instead of to things that cannot hold me. Amen.
