Abundant life

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 10:10 (KJV)

Reflection

Today's verse reminds us that Jesus offers more than survival. He offers a full and purposeful life. His way is shaped by truth, love, freedom, and fellowship with God.

This does not mean ignoring life's difficulties. It means seeing each moment through God's faithful care. His presence can give peace even when circumstances remain hard.

Today, notice where you have been merely enduring. Invite Jesus into that place. Choose one simple act of gratitude, connection, or service.

Abundant life grows as Christ's love becomes active in ordinary moments. Return to His promise when pressure rises. Let His grace steady your thoughts and guide your next decision.

To consider

Where have you been merely enduring, and how can you invite Jesus into it?

Prayer

Jesus, You came to give abundant life. I invite You into the places where I am only enduring. Fill my ordinary moments with Your love. Amen.
