Whom shall I fear?

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:1 (KJV)

Reflection

Fear may describe what we feel. But it does not define our future. The Lord is our light, our rescue, and our strength. Faith does not mean having no questions or emotions. It means trusting God's character more than the circumstances around us. Today, identify the fear speaking the loudest. Answer it with one truth about God. Then take the next wise step, slowly and honestly. Let prayer keep you close to God. Trust Him for the wisdom and strength you need. Courage grows when we remember who walks beside us.

To consider

Which fear is speaking loudest, and what truth about God answers it?

Prayer

Lord, You are my light, my salvation, and the strength of my life. When fear speaks loudly, help me answer it with the truth of who You are. Amen.
