God directs our steps

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

Proverbs 16:9 (KJV)

Reflection

Plan with wisdom, but hold the details loosely. God sees farther and faithfully directs the steps of a willing heart.

To consider

Which plan are you holding too tightly, and can you open your hands to God's direction?

Prayer

Lord, I make my plans, but You direct my steps. Help me plan with wisdom, hold the details loosely, and follow where You lead. Amen.
